Analog Handset for Aircraft CIDS
The analog handsets of the N40 Analog series are part of the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS), the cabin management system for Airbus aircraft. They enable communication between flight attendants, with the cockpit, and passenger announcements. Currently, N40 Analog handsets are in use on the Airbus A320 family as well as the A330 and A340.
The connections between the handset, coiled cable, and cradle are pluggable. This allows individual components to be easily replaced. The entire system is therefore very flexible and modular: the devices are available in several colors, with a variety of keypad layouts, and with different cable lengths.rnrn
